SPRING

SACRED SEASON OF SPRING

Archangel: St. Hanael. LINK Direction: East. Element: Earth. Time of Day: Dawn. Sacred Symbol: the Rose. Sacred Colors: (Dark) Green, Lapis, Pink). Seasonal Color: Green. Season of: Our Divine Queen.

While the name, Hanael, means Joy or Grace of God, Her Celestial Title is the Rose of God.

In ancient tradition, just as each Sunday is the day of Our Lord or Our Lord’s Day, Saturday is known as the day of both the Blessed Virgin Mary and Our Holy Mother God is on Saturday or Our Lady’s Day. We greet Her on Friday evenings by lighting Her candles and we pay honor to Her the next day. Please note that the candle lighting has been inspired by the Sabbath Queen of Judaism, but this is not the Jewish Shabbat we are celebrating.

For the complete list of Marian Feast Days which includes lore and miracles, please see Mary’s Feast Days

For the complete traditional liturgical calendar, please see traditio.com.

Please note: Each year, the Fifth Season of Dolorosa takes place during Lent, with a three day hiatus for the Divine Feminine Eastre in honor of Holy Sophia. Each year, the proper dates will be indicated.

The Great Feast of Pentecost, the Descent of Our Holy Mother Spirit, takes place on the seventh Sunday after Easter.
